Consultation, Sales, and Service Policy

The AO Design Group LLC provides interior design consultation, project advisory services, and curated materials and artwork sourcing.
By scheduling a consultation, purchasing materials or artwork, or engaging with services provided by The AO Design Group LLC, you agree to the following policies.
Consultation Services
Consultation appointments compensate for professional time, design expertise, and preparation.
Consultation fees are due at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.
All consultation fees are non-refundable.
Rescheduling
Clients may request to reschedule a consultation with advance notice.
Rescheduling requests made close to the scheduled consultation time may be subject to a rescheduling fee.
Reasonable accommodations may be made for extenuating circumstances at the sole discretion of The AO Design Group LLC.
Project Agreements
Full interior design services, bespoke project advisory services, or extended project engagements are governed by separate written agreements between The AO Design Group LLC and the client.
These agreements outline project scope, timelines, pricing, and responsibilities.
Materials, Furnishings, and Artwork
The AO Design Group LLC may source or provide curated materials, furnishings, artwork, and design elements.
All purchases of materials, furnishings, artwork, and sourced items are final sale and non-refundable.
Availability of materials and products may change without notice due to supplier availability, manufacturing conditions, or vendor policies.
Custom or Special Orders
Custom, made-to-order, or specially sourced items cannot be canceled, returned, or refunded once an order has been placed with a vendor or manufacturer.
Delivery, Installation, and Project Oversight
The AO Design Group LLC does not perform physical installation services.
In certain projects, The AO Design Group LLC may provide design oversight, coordination, or project advisory services.
These services may include reviewing progress, providing design guidance, or communicating with contractors or vendors. However, contractors, installers, and vendors operate as independent third parties.
The AO Design Group LLC does not control, supervise, or manage the work performed by contractors, installers, or service providers and cannot guarantee their performance or workmanship.
Responsibility for Installation and Handling
Once materials, artwork, furnishings, or other items have been delivered, transferred, or released to the client, contractor, or installer, responsibility for transportation, handling, storage, installation, and maintenance transfers to the receiving party.
Even when The AO Design Group LLC provides advisory or oversight services during a project, installation and construction work remain the responsibility of the contractors or installers performing that work.
Damage During Installation or Handling
The AO Design Group LLC is not responsible for damage, breakage, loss, improper installation, or misuse of materials, furnishings, artwork, or other items occurring during transportation, storage, installation, or construction.
Responsibility for these activities rests with the party performing the work or handling the items.
Vendor and Contractor Recommendations
From time to time, The AO Design Group LLC may recommend contractors, installers, vendors, artisans, or service providers.
These recommendations are provided as a convenience based on professional experience.
All vendors and contractors operate as independent third parties, and The AO Design Group LLC is not responsible for their actions, workmanship, schedules, pricing, conduct, or project outcomes.
Clients are responsible for entering into agreements directly with those vendors and contractors.
Vendor and Supply Delays
The AO Design Group LLC is not responsible for delays caused by third-party vendors, manufacturers, shipping carriers, supply chain disruptions, or other factors outside of our control.
Estimated delivery timelines are provided for informational purposes only and may change.
Design Interpretation
Design concepts, renderings, recommendations, and visual representations are intended to communicate design direction and vision.
Final outcomes may vary depending on site conditions, construction methods, materials availability, installation practices, and client decisions.
Measurements and Site Conditions
Clients are responsible for providing accurate site measurements, specifications, and information about project conditions unless measurement services are specifically included in a written project agreement.
The AO Design Group LLC is not responsible for issues resulting from inaccurate measurements or information provided by clients, contractors, or third parties.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The AO Design Group LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from consultation services, design advisory services, materials sourcing, vendor recommendations, or purchases associated with a project.
Any liability shall be limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific consultation or service giving rise to the claim.
Policy Adjustments
In certain situations involving extenuating circumstances, The AO Design Group LLC may make reasonable accommodations at its sole discretion.
